Hey everyone-

I'm back at Purdue now after a great trip to New Orleans for Spring Break last week.  It was great to talk to people down there and to go back and work with the same organization I got to work with a year ago.  I am pretty sure I will be there this summer interning as well, so that's pretty exciting!  It was really exciting because we finished work Friday evening and got to go to the Purdue NCAA game in New Orleans, so that was awesome.  AND WE WON!! but of course we lost yesterday against Florida, but not by much...so oh well.

Ok, so God has been so good and it was amazing being in New Orleans, but the past three or four days have been extremely trying, starting with Friday night right after the game.  We stayed up nearly the entire night because we got a call as we were leaving the game that our flight was canceled.  So, we stayed up trying to call the airline and literally for hours we were on hold.  We finally got a hold of them and all they could tell us is that there weren't going to be any flights out and to Indianapolis until Monday night at the earliest and we would have to book them the next morning at the airport.  We slept for about 2 hours then headed to the airport at 4:45AM.  We got dropped off there and waited in line for hours and had to have a group of people who were headed to Indiana rent us a car so that we could get home before school started today.  If we hadn't found anyone I would be just flying out now and we would have been at the airport stranded for who knows how long.  We got home about 4AM and I didn't get to sleep until around 6:30AM because I had to take a shower and stuff.  I had to get up fairly early the next day for church and for some other reasons so I only got a couple of hours of sleep, which was okay then, but has totally caught up with me now.

Today at Purdue a few of my friends and I all slept through our early classes because we forgot to change our clocks to the right time since this is the first time we've used these since daylight savings time ended...so that stunk, but it was ok...then at around 12:30 all of Owen Hall (where I live) got a call saying that at 1PM there would be a power outage and they didn't know how long it would take...well it ended up taking many hours and lasted most of the day...the reason they needed it shut off was because there was a body found in the high voltage room downstairs.  SO there were tons of police officers and investigators and news cameras all around here.  It's just so much all at once and I just hate all the stuff that keeps happening like that around here.  They don't know yet if it is Wade Steffey's body, but people are speculating that it is...his parents were called in and drove here this afternoon...It's just crazy all the stuff that's going on and that it's all been here at Owen.  The room he was found in has two different locks on it and no one in Owen (even the staff) have keys to it, only utility workers do.

anyway so again purdue really needs prayer if you guys wouldnt mind

I love you guys
